01 · Overview

About Exam Maker: Offline Tests

Exam Maker: Offline Tests is an offline classroom exam and test maker app intended for teachers, tutors, schools, coaching centers, training classes, and classroom organisers.

The app helps create exams, tests, quizzes, polls, attendance records, and result reports. Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not operate an online exam server. The core exam flow is designed to work locally on your device and through nearby sharing methods.

02 · Local Data

Data stored locally on your device

Exam Maker: Offline Tests may store the following data locally on your device:

Exams, tests, quizzes, questions, and answer options
Student names, nicknames, or roll numbers entered for classroom identification
Student answers, scores, results, and question-wise performance
Class records and attendance records
App settings, preferences, and exported reports you choose to create
Local-first design: This data is stored on your device unless you choose to share, export, delete, or transfer it through app features.

Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not operate a cloud account system or a server-side database for exam data, so there is no backend copy to delete, export, or correct.

03 · Local Sharing

Nearby sharing and QR codes

Exam Maker: Offline Tests allows teachers and students to share exam-related data using QR code or nearby sharing methods, depending on the device, platform, and available method.

This may include:

Exam details sent from a teacher device to student devices
Student name, nickname, or roll number used for classroom identification
Student answers, submissions, scores, or results sent back to the teacher device
Connection information needed to complete local sharing
No Exam Maker: Offline Tests online exam server: These transfers are part of the classroom exam flow. Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not receive this exam data on our own server.
04 · Attendance

Attendance records

Teachers can create and manage attendance records inside the app. Attendance records are stored locally on the teacher’s device unless the teacher chooses to export or share them.

Attendance records are not automatically uploaded to our server.

05 · Exports

Reports, CSV, and PDF files

Exam Maker: Offline Tests may allow teachers to export results or records as CSV or PDF.

If you export or share a file using another app, cloud service, messaging app, email app, file manager, or printing service, that third-party service may process the file according to its own privacy policy.

06 · Advertising

Advertising

The free version of Exam Maker: Offline Tests may show ads through Google AdMob. Google AdMob and its partners may collect or process data such as:

Device advertising ID
IP address and approximate location
App activity related to ad display and ad performance
Device model, operating system, app information, diagnostics, and performance information

This data may be used for ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and related advertising purposes. You can manage ad personalization through your device settings or Google ad settings where available.

Premium or ad-free options: If you purchase an ad-free or premium option, in-app ads are removed according to the purchased feature. Google Play, Apple App Store, or another app-store platform may still process purchase, licensing, and device information as needed to complete and verify purchases.
07 · Permissions

Device permissions

Exam Maker: Offline Tests may request location, nearby devices, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, camera, or network-related permissions depending on the feature and device platform.

These permissions may be used for discovering nearby devices, connecting teacher and student devices, scanning QR codes, sharing exams locally, and receiving exams from nearby devices.

Location permission: Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not use location permission to track your real-world movement.
Camera permission: Camera access may be used to scan QR codes for joining or receiving exams. Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not use the camera for background recording.
08 · Purchases

In-app purchases

Exam Maker: Offline Tests may offer in-app purchases through Google Play, Apple App Store, or other app-store platforms.

Payment processing is handled by the app-store provider. Exam Maker: Offline Tests does not receive your full payment card details. Exam Maker: Offline Tests may receive purchase status or licensing information needed to unlock premium features.

09 · Students

Children and students

Exam Maker: Offline Tests is intended for use by teachers, tutors, schools, coaching centers, training classes, and classroom organisers.

Exam Maker: Offline Tests is not primarily directed to children under 13. Students may use the student-side exam flow under the supervision of a teacher, school, parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
